The Journey of 1NGO
Our Founders
Gururaj Potnis and Priya Karnik, both alumni of IIM Calcutta, joined forces to create a platform that would revolutionize the digital presence of NGOs across India.
The Mission
We set out to empower NGOs by equipping them with essential tools and knowledge to enhance their online visibility and effectiveness, primarily through:
- Creation of free websites
- Digital literacy initiatives
Addressing the Digital Divide
Recognizing that many NGOs, especially in rural areas, lacked awareness of technology, we focused on providing essential digital services to bridge this gap and increase their visibility to:
- Potential donors
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs
- Volunteers
Today's Impact
We are proud to host over 1,300 NGO websites on our 1NGO subdomain platform, making a meaningful impact on the visibility and reach of these organizations.
